Hey New Englanders, this post is especially for you! We are going to the nearest tiny town of New York State for a weekend or a daily getaway; Lake George!
Lake George is very popular, especially in the summer season. One of the biggest reasons for this popularity is that Lake George is one of the 10 cleanest lakes in North America. Water sports are also very popular at this lake, which is called almost transparent. We went for the weekend of 17-18 September as a getaway. Luckily, it was the time of the 16-18 September jazz festival, and we were full of music with local vendors and street food set up around the lake.

Our priority was cycling on train tracks that no longer work. We got a sunset drive for the day we went as it looked rainy the next day. This pleasant bike ride, which will last 2 hours, is held in 4 different states.

There were 8 different options in New York. Both the time and location of these options are different. Some also have options such as jumping into the water depending on the season. We preferred the Hadley Run option; It was more tempting to go over the 90-foot-long bridge.
During the 2-hour journey, you start having fun with the people in front and behind - yes, while riding the bike! Employees are so accustomed to taking photographs that they come and ask themselves before you even ask. Don't be fooled by the heat of the air, make sure you have something to cover your arms and neck, depending on the season you go. And of course you'll have a small safe basket to put food or drink in.
The next day we got up early in the morning and set out for hiking before the rain came.
Sleeping Beauty is 3.6 miles round trip hike from trailhead. short but steep hike; There are Bumps Pond and Fish Brook Pond points on the same trail line. If you're not avoiding the rain like us, don't miss them too.
Since it was the rainy season, we saw and photographed a lot of mushrooms.
