10-i amsterdam

It may sound like an extreme cliché, but I think Amsterdam is one of the best places to take pictures with these city letters. Being right in the middle of Dam Square is another beauty, because we don't have to add an extra item to the list.

Dam Square is the heart of Amsterdam and walking distance to the train station. As soon as you get off the plane, you can take a train to get here.

Unfortunately, like most cities in Europe, this city has a blue energy from the Second World War. The statue in the square was erected in memory of those killed in the war. Every year, on May 4, a commemoration ceremony is held on behalf of those people.

9-coffeeshops

I guess it's impossible not to get high when you're in Amsterdam. Although I was totally awake and in the state of exploring the city on my first visit.

'The Bulldog', which is the most famous and whose logo you will see more; includes 5 coffeshops and 1 hotel in Amsterdam, if you would like to stay in this location. Moreover I still remember their wi-fi password; hotel220 lol!

I will also suggest ‘Abraxas’; If you've seen the movie Ocean’s 12, you'll recognize it the moment you step inside. Of course, there are many other options and beautiful places besides these, it's entirely up to you.

8-vondelpark

Speaking of being high, i cannot miss the place where you actually should experience it. vondelpark is the largest green area in Amsterdam also holds its traditional celebration known as King's Day every April 27th here.

Park is located where the museums are, in the southern part of the city.

like maaaaaaybe, in Vondelpark, you can get into your higher vibration, go to the Van Gogh museum and examine the dancing paintings!

(They’re dancing, right?)

7-REMBRANDTHUIS

Since the house of Rembrandt Harmenszoon van Rijn (Rembrandt), became a museum after his death, you can see almost all his works of art here. He was one of the most important artists of Dutch Art History.

Don't forget to stop by the square named after Rembrandt. it is where the old defense line of Amsterdam was. it is now an area where nightlife and artists abound. You can also see sculptures of Rembrandt in the square.

6-sexmuseum

Fun Fact; The other name of the museum is Temple Of Venus. As soon as you enter the museum, you realize that it is a place worthy of its name.

You will see many photographs, pictures, sound recordings and videos in the museum. The museum, where you can observe the history of sex and how it evolved over the years. it may sound like cringe, but believe me it is not! it’s actually fun.

5-ANNE FRANK HOUSE

Anne Frank, one of the saddest stories of World War II... Anne Frank's diary, where she wrote about her days in the room where they hid with her family and family friends, was published by her father in 1947. Otto Frank was the sole survivor of the Nazi camp. Their house was opened as a museum in 1960.

4-winkel 43

I could swear you've never had an apple pie like this before, but I can't prove it. Personally, I had never liked apple pie until i ate this heavenly pie!

winkel 43 not only made me love apple pie, it also made me feel too spoiled to eat apple pie anywhere else but Amsterdam. Definitely try it, you won't regret it.

3-van stapele koekmakerij

These cookies are, so to speak, like out of heaven! Soft chocolate chip cookies and melted white chocolate inside… Mmmm, not to mention the smell that emanates from the moment you enter the shop!

The shop, which opens at 10 am, often closes before the normal closing time (5 pm), because all the cookies are usually gone by then.

I bought these cookies as a gift when I was going back to Turkey, but I ate them on the way! lol, oops! tellin’ ya; THEY’RE VERY DANGEROUS!

2-pancakes amsterdam

Ok, the last 3 exits on the way to 1 are all about food but it's not mine, it's Amsterdam's fault! (MUNCHIES)

this is the place I would recommend for breakfast, but it's not a bad idea to eat Dutch pancakes as munchies too.

Forget the American pancakes! And sorry not sorry, Dutch pancakes beat American one!

My favourite, of course, is the Apple Pie Pancake, with ice cream. And yes, at breakfast!!!!

1-the dam on the river amstel

amsterdam was established in the 12th century as a fishing town on the banks of the Amstel river, now is the capital and most populated city of the Netherlands. the name was taken from the Amstel river.

The city is especially famous for its 17th century houses. you can also see boat houses where every street is equally beautiful. Don’t get lost in the middle of the night because the streets are also very similar ;)

boat houses were used especially in the 60s and 70s due to the housing shortage, but now are used as lifestyle venues. Don't miss the opportunity to see the canals, which are under the protection of UNESCO, up close and with their history with the boat tour departing from the square.

Don’t forget to follow my journey here!
